Welcome to the Panther Battalion JROTC program at Ridgeland High School. This page is designed to provide parents and cadets with an overview of our program, what we offer, and what is expected from those participating in this rewarding experience.

What We Offer

Leadership Development

Hands-on leadership training through real responsibilities, mentoring opportunities, and progressive skill building in military leadership principles.

Team Building Activities

Participation in competitive teams including Raiders, Drill, Color Guard, Rifle, Sabre, and Fitness teams that build camaraderie and excellence.

Community Service

Meaningful volunteer opportunities including food drives, veteran support, highway cleanup, and community event participation.

Physical Fitness

Structured fitness training, outdoor activities, obstacle courses, and competitions that build strength and endurance.

Educational Opportunities

Field trips, civic engagement experiences, military history education, and college/career preparation guidance.

Recognition Programs

Awards, promotions, scholarships, and recognition for academic achievement, leadership excellence, and community service.
